A Moment of Calm

A Moment of Calm

A sketch of “RO” from one of her poses earlier this week.

  1. Oh, I can see how strong and organized this woman is/ or able to be at work? ! Sure, she is resting , calm, but what a potential! Looking at those direct angled shoulders and posture, straight line of the nose....
    It's psychological sketch now! Bravo!

    1. The session with “RO” was quiet and calming, with introspection expressed in many of her poses. It does lead to wonder of personality and such. I would say she is all that you see☺
      Thank you

  3. Indeed it is ...she looks so calm or did you transmit your calm to her ...beautifully drawn as always, I may never be able to sketch, draw, paint like you, but even through my photos through anything I create, or fail at I know how to find an Island Off Solitudes, and for that I am forever grateful to you, you are often my only way out and for that I'm forever grateful

    1. “RO” transmitted her calm over the studio, in poses like this..
Your sketching and paintings are great.. They are a personal thing anyway, a mapping out of a journey to your islands, to your own solitude..
      Thank you

  4. How DO you do that??
Such peaceful serenity...it just leaps out of the sketch...she is SO calm.
If we could see her aura...it would be smooth and flowing, and full of rainbow colours.
In fact...I'd be willing to swear I can see it forming delicately around her contours...:)

    Have a fabulous weekend! :))
