The Previous Fishing Camp

The Previous Fishing Camp

The previous attempt
by the mainland
to include the islands,

burnt to the ground.

The ruins of the attempt
that followed,
constructed in stone,

still remain.

The abandoned attempt
is now hidden in trees,
and continuing mysteries,

of the missing.

Thinking with doodles before a model showed up the other day, of what the first attempt by the mainland might have looked like.

  2. your sketch, your words, everything you did here makes me unbelievably grateful that you exist...within you views of art and your words of poetry...I'm alone, at last

May your islands off solitude always remain untouched ...

    1. And the beating is mostly from our less scrupled fellow humans. Would be nice to be untouched.
      Thank you

  4. A natural disaster...or man-made?
It makes no difference...the loss is the same...yet the latter carries karmic connotations...those still lurking in the ruins will someday rise up and claim their inheritance.
This fabulous sketch suggests a story of mythic proportions.
And this is only the beginning...:)
