Everyone who had ever felt
What I was feeling now
They knew I could see
Faces serious
Some in tears
Some angry knowing
They’d been found
Wishing I hadn’t come
In sympathy
I began thinking
I was one of them now
Finding what I shouldn’t
But did

if they hadn't stayed at Islands Of Solitudes would they feel the void off of it....the awful emptiness so the question is,is being on Islands of Solitude worth the price? not for me, not if I can't stay...the hell is worse after
ReplyDeleteIt seems there aren’t places left that haven’t been occupied before. these ghosts of the past know we are thinking first time, knowing the disappointment being revealed,
DeleteBeautiful composition.

DeleteFeels like I've strayed into someone else's dream here...that it is a place I really shouldn't be, yet just can't help being drawn here. It is far too inviting...:)
ReplyDeleteYou didn’t stray. I was inviting you in to share, to confirm sanity, maybe.
DeleteI loved the impression of solitude, despite the host of shadowy figures on either side - how to feel alone in a crowd, perhaps?
ReplyDeletePerhaps.. I was thinking more of how we find places to identify and claim ownership. I was thinking of all those who had passed through, discovering the void too.
