Previous Cast
They wait within a void
I can not reach them
Like today I tried again
Could not find a way in
Like today on the outside
Their colors continue to fade
Like today I pretend my sails
Capture an old purple wind
Like today I pretend the opening
A
soft light lets me in
Like
today I see naked bodies
The
sun makes love to them
Like
today I pretend again
To be with the previous cast

Bonjour Anthony,
ReplyDeleteElles sont là joyeuses dans un paysage en fête... Une peinture qui épanouit l'imagination.
Gros bisous
They are there in my imagination for sure..
DeleteThank you
Oh Anthony, you took my breath away how majestic how beautiful i would Hang that Painting in a place where i could see it all day just a brief look and I feel all the magic within. This is truly extraordinary!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeleteYou know I’ll end up doing many more of these. It’s my way of returning to magical place too..
A few hours very well spent, I would say!
ReplyDeleteI really love this...the colours are superb, the figures sublime...I would do almost anything to have the ability to step into this ethereal landscape and explore...
Truly inspiring...and wonderful:)
Thank you.
DeleteIt would be nice if we could step back into places and be with the cast now only available in memories, and maybe images we create.
Stunning, Anthony...I love the colors and how you painted them to give a feeling of movement to the landscape!
ReplyDeleteYour words are perfect...I especially loved the lines, "Like today I see naked bodies...The sun makes love to them"~~~
Thank you
DeleteEspecially for the reading of my words..
Beautiful painting!
ReplyDeleteI Love the line,
"I pretend my sails capture an old purple wind."
The use of "capture" for instance, instead of catch, illustrates just how much depends on a word.
Thank you so much.
DeleteYou are so insightful.. At one point during editing, the wind was catching my sails…
