“R”
A Few
He
posed for a couple of sessions I attended yesterday. The difference shows in the
poses and the time of day. The portrait was in the evening. The difference
shows too between ballpoint and a wet brush.
1st:
9”x 12” ballpoint pens on toned tan paper
2nd: 11"x 18" watercolor on 140# cold press
I especially love the top drawing - so real, with a great expression. Really wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI agree doing his portrait presents “R” with a more personal touch.

as much as I enjoy a nude man's back, gosh the first drawing is fantastic...such a penetrating look and no pun intended
ReplyDeleteIt was fun capturing him close up.

No matter the time of day, Anthony...both of these are wonderful works of art~~~
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteAt both times of day...these two drawings are great.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the top one. The detail is fabulous...I love his expression. He seems to be deep in contemplation...:)
