Lifeguard
Perched up in the sky
above a made up sea
overseeing imaginary bathers
with thoughts of helping,
I suppose,
knowing there won’t be the need
on this nonexistent shore.
“LK” climbed up on a table, onto
a stool, high above the rest of us, for this and a few other poses I sketched
him in, in the session I attended this morning.

He couldn't have been anything other than a lifeguard in this fabulous pose - except, perhaps, a tennis Umpire!
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see that too...he is sitting high above the court, watching every move, as the ball bounces back and forth, back and forth...:))
And accomplishing both these roles open and naked to the world, not hiding anything:)
