Waking in the shadows
of a web of searching
struggling lines.
Almost too long in limbo
pretending to be dead,
to wake up now.

trapped in the shadows of the many other sessions I have been attending around
town, waiting for now.

Sometimes it is good to lie in the shadows...to be unseen. There is a certain sense of safety there.
ReplyDeleteShe does look rather reluctant to emerge from these shadows...isn't too happy with the intrusion.
Only problem is...we all know what also lurks in the shadows - arachnids!! Would definitely keep me out in the light! Haha.
A stunning sketch. I love how the light falls across her body...really brings her to life! :))
Sometimes good. Sometimes bad. Have to face the light to really know.
