North Sea From Train
Thinking about gulls,
ruins in forest islands
between stone wall
enclosed fields,
the North Sea.
A train ride to and back
between Edinburgh and London
a few weeks ago.
Too lazy to take photos of the
flashing imagery. Deciding I’d invent some images from memory or whatever the
fountain pen perceived from the fragile connection it has with my brain.
A thumbnail sketch, an initial
attempt. Will use paper that accepts watercolor the next time I have this urge.

That fragile connection is a train ride in itself. . . . Still enjoying the drawings that arise during your stay there. . . .
ReplyDeleteYes, so true. Must admit, I do enjoy the train.. Enjoy your daily posts too. Receive as emails these day. Haven’t found a convenient way to respond.
