Curious

Curious

Load booms can be so silent
Vibrations ignored in surrounding swells
Years hiding within struggling trees
Barely clinging to dead rocks
Wondering if to pray

Silent booms can be so load
Waves crash in exaggerated storms
Years wasted within frail beliefs
Barely explored to fully grasp
Wondering if to look
Instead

They appeared as I sketched more struggling trees barely clinging to dead rocks.
5.5”x 3.5” ballpoint pen in an almost empty sketch pad.

  1. Well two at least are looking for a way out the one inside though he wonders, how in the hell he'll make it out of the mess he created, i like. A lot. Grin

    1. I guess the words sometimes get lost when there are so many lines for other stories. I do like yours.
      Thank you

  2. They are all there...I see them clearly - and their hidden dwelling.
There could well be a complete hidden world in there!
    Very intriguing...:)

    1. And hiding in an isolated hidden place does help for those who might be curious of the silent booms☺
      Thank you

  3. There is a lot of struggling and hiding going on in your sketch...a lot of motion and emotion. A sketch that is to be studied, not just glanced at. I enjoyed both your sketch and your words...very much, Anthony~~~

    1. The struggles do attempt to hide, some for years, waiting in the background looking for these moments, least expected, to show up in the lines. And then wonder and curiosity haunt me for days.
      Thank you
