Afternoon
Cool
Some
sketches of “SR” posing in his tux, yesterday in the afternoon.
I
managed to place him a couple of times next to a sketch of “SH” sporting her
flower wig, in one of the drawings, from the day before.
1st:
9”x 12” fountain pen, oil sanguine and chalk on toned paper
2nd
and 3rd: 17”x 14” ballpoint pen
All sketches are extraordinary, I love them all, and I'm glad though I don't get that the woman finds herself happier in company than surrounded by beauty....then again I'm a loner. All three sketches are beautiful Anthony.
ReplyDeleteI liked drawing his posture and his face.. He looks so serious. It was a fun time getting “SR” to pose.

Doesn't he look amazing in his tuxedo...and so versatile!
ReplyDeleteIn the first sketch, I just can't get a character from a Dickens novel out of my head - perhaps Pip as a young adult.
In the second, I see him in a 70's nightclub...and the third?
Oh definitely the 60's - it is the flower wig "SH" is wearing...
Wow...such a varied life this time traveler enjoys! lol
I really love the stories your fabulous sketches evoke, Anthony...there are so, so many! :)
He fit so many different stories. I was thinking James Bond for a while.. I did like placing him on the sketch I already had of “SH”. Another chance to show off her flowered wigs wasn’t to be missed.
