As striking as he were then he is even more now, I love the strength in his face as well as his posture,of course what I really Love is how you draw, wow Anthony
The detail in these is truly amazing...his facial expression in the first one is so God-like, yet full of compassion...and in the second, his pose is powerfully commanding - a fitting tribute so great a character. He has just emerged from his sea kingdom...his skin glistens wet, and his crown of fish bones is definitely "the icing on the cake!" Bravo, Anthony!!
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.

Very good, especially the first one (the brow and the eyes). He strikes a convincing pose, and what a headpiece!
ReplyDeleteThank you.. He was quite proud of his fishbone crown.

Hah! I love that he made a crown for this. The kind of man who should have his portrait drawn :). I think we become attached to your subjects here!
ReplyDeleteHe is quite an artist, making art from found artists. It is always fun waiting to see what he will come up with for a costumed pose.
