Where's the peace, why can't they be left alone, who are those unwelcome strangers wearing suits of wars? They can't hurt them, they won't because you won't draw it that way, they will revive to be able to fight for the right to belong alone and only on the Islands of Solitudes, please let it be so Anthony
ReplyDeleteThe peace comes within our life times and possible other’s future. These images on the islands all happened before either of us were born.. I have a lot of work to do before any of this really will make any sense. I have trouble after sketching ideas, not to show them. Between my time schedule drawing and painting models, and the stuff in between, I’m busy writing so that soon this all might make sense.
DeleteOh I am so glad they are finally found...perhaps it was these two wandering the Islands, lost, that were making you feel rather sombre recently!
ReplyDeleteSo now there will be a celebration...and the rock formation can be re-animated into flesh.
All we need to do now is free those who are preparing to be stoned...can you find it in your heart to pardon them? ;)
These have a genuinely mythic feel to them...oh...so many stories are crowding into my head...
Most of the images are from ideas I am working out for a story I’ve been working on for too long. The sketches relate to the history of the islands. Some of your observations though, are extremely close to these ideas still rolling around in my head. Thank you
DeleteThey are almost like mermaids ...just recently turned in human bodies...magical...
ReplyDeleteThe almost are or could be. There are so many possibilities waiting to be tried.
