Woman
With Flower
While
at the entrance to Sloane Square tube station watching the conversations in the
crowd, I noticed a woman with a flower passing through.
She
appeared to be invisible to everyone except me.
I
looked closer at the crowd all around and realized I was invisible too.

What the mystery in your words and sketch too. Both of you were probably vibrating on higher level...
ReplyDeleteVibrating on a higher level dos sound sort of cool.

Yes, she does seem invisible, doesn't she?
ReplyDeleteAnd I looked more deeply...no one is looking at you either.
Just goes to show where the human race is today...impersonal...focused on only those we know.
It's as if a stranger has no right to acknowledgement, so doesn't exist...whereas in truth, a stranger is only a friend we haven't yet met.
Think I'd feel awfully uncomfortable in this scene...no reflection on your sketch though. That is fabulous, and very atmospheric! :)
I think this especially true in larger cities. The more of us there are the more invisible we each become..

Oh wow I love this so much, instant feeling of being at a station, and yes she seems to appear out of nowhere with a flower and no sees her but the artist,...How I love this!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteShe was the show for me for a few minutes.
