“ST”
This Morning
He
posed for a life drawing session I attended this morning. He sort of looked
like this too.
1st:
14”x 11” colored pencil on toned paper
2nd:
18”x 24” colored pencil on colored charcoal paper
3rd:
24”x 18” Sanguine on plain old paper
the person, the position the same body in different poses it's astonishing how you can keep the proportion and make different postures incredibly wonderful and so well done weight height face, always the same in all different position, wow I couldn't do that for the life of me, you're awesome
ReplyDeleteI practice a lot.. Drawing from a good model helps too.

These are truly great, Anthony.
ReplyDeleteI especially like no 1. It is so expressive, and the colour gives it a sense of warmth and life.
After having said that, though, nos.2 and 3 are very good too!:)
I agree the colors help, although if the pose had been longer, it would have been nice to achieve the same with the use of more values between the black and the white.
