L'Asie

L’Asie

While in Paris over the last few days, almost a whole day was spent at the Musee D’Orsay. This sketch is of a sculpture by Alexandre Falguiere’s. L’Asie is one of a group of six sculptures called the Six Continents near the entrance to the museum.
9”x 12” fountain pen and chalk on toned grey paper

    1. I did enjoy the Musee D’Orsay the best of the museums visited. Though the beauty was almost everywhere I looked in Paris.
      Thank you

I really love this...and I wonder which continent she represents...Asia, perhaps?

    1. Plus I don’t have as much time to draw here, with travel to Paris and commitments here in London.
